Passion as
a driving force.
It was in 2003 that Joël Castets, a physicist by training and a former project manager and manager at Cap Gemini, Teuchos (now Safran) and finally PSA, decided, with his partners, to create Agenium in order to distribute, in the space world (CNES, Astrium…), STK systems analysis and study (SoS) software published by AGI.
Alongside his role as head of development for a virtual reality centre (Battle Lab) at Airbus, Joël, an insatiable observer and entrepreneur at heart, saw the need to broaden Agenium’s activities and develop the field of ‘simulation’.
In 2006, Agenium began its ascent by winning, in close collaboration with Alcatel Alenia Space, a call for tenders concerning space surveillance for the French air and space force. From that moment on, Agenium asserted its place in the industrial world and continued to develop, opening up expertise within projects and creating the industrial IT branch in addition to the one dedicated to simulation.
In 2010, Joël met Adrien Jelic, then a lawyer, who would become his current partner.

A global vision
2018 marks a major turning point in the history of Agenium with the formation of Agenium 3D Lab and Agenium Space. From now on, two entities will structure Agenium Group:
Agenium IT & SYSTEMS (training and systems simulation, 3D modelling, industrial IT, obsolescence management, software distribution, training, digitisation of business processes)
Agenium Space (Embedded AI and Deep Learning)
Today, Agenium is a global, agile and innovative vision, an ecosystem that offers solutions to the technological challenges of industry, aeronautics, defence and space… A different way of looking at the industrial world!

Agenium is a team of over 60 people (Engineers, Experts, 3D Artists…. to be completed) spread over 3 sites in France: Toulouse, Saint-Germain-En-Laye and Rennes.
